Amiga World is the friendliest IRC channel on undernet for Amiga users and general chat. This is a fun and friendly place to chat on the Internet. We're always happy to see new faces, and will gladly answer ANY questions you might have about Amiga's and/or the channel. Please feel free to ask the OP's any questions or log any complaints you might have with them. Always try to remember, this is a fun and friendly place to chat on IRC, let's all try to keep it that way.

Amiga World is a friendly and helpful channel, and these are some guidelines you should follow when joining #AmigaWorld.

Do speak up and say hello. Most of us don't bite.
Do be polite and friendly.
Do answer questions if you know the answer.
Do tell us about interesting web sites you've found. (Especially Amiga-related sites.)
Do ask questions about programs or hardware if you need help.
Do ask for help with general Amiga questions.
Do update the news page on this site if you have access.

Don't join and leave right away. That would be anti-social.
Don't insulting others - We're all here to have a good time
Don't swear, or use foul language - some people find it offensive
Don't try to gather people for raids on other channels.
Don't trade or discuss the trading of pirated software in the channel.
Don't ask to be op'ed. You'll get kicked
Don't wage "My computer's better than yours" wars.
Don't keep repeating questions and comments.
Don't keep using CAPS, as this is shouting.
